Forecast Public Artspace

From 1981, Giles Denmark became an active member of Forecast Public Artspace Productions, Minneapolis — founded and directed by Jack Becker.

Giles Denmark came to Minneapolis from London and joined Forecast, which was run by Jack Becker and others. He lived in an apartment in the same building as Forecast at 2955 Bloomington Ave — on the corner of Bloomington and Lake Street. At that time Forecast and the apartment were on the floor above a gun shop, with Butler Drug on the other side of Bloomington Ave.

"As a member I became the editor of the Forecast Newsletter, as well as being involved in art exhibitions, events, poetry, performance works, and fundraising activities."
