Giles Denmark's art at Cavalletto, IDS, Minneapolis (1986). This work was specially created to complement the interior design of the store (designed by William Beson), as well as the fashion styles sold — broad shoulders, baggy pants. These were elements already present in Giles Denmark's work. The use of gold and silver with black borders was deployed as a device of exclusivity.
